Chronicle
I really wasn’t expecting much going into this film. I am pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. One thing I really enjoy is that they leave it a mystery the entire film, what exactly was that caused the three main characters to gain superpowers. I like the whole show don’t tell method. Chronicle was ladened with tons of killer special effects. What shocked me the most was the level of acting. Dane Dehaan reminded me so much of Leo Dicaprio. Especially Leo’s role in Basketball Diaries. Very similar themes. Chronicle kept me interested start to finish and was well worth the watch.
